The 0.105 beta removed the long-criticized Doormaker fight, debuted replacement boss Aeonglass, shipped the Bestiary with its 1-8 key secret, and moved the game to bi-weekly patching.

May 8's 0.105 beta patch was the one players had been begging for and the one nobody expected in the same update: the Doormaker is gone, a brand-new boss took his chair, the Bestiary shipped, and Mega Crit formalized its bi-weekly patch cadence.
Doormaker's farewell tour ends
The Act 3 boss had been the community's longest-running mechanical grievance — a fight whose complexity crossed the studio's own comfort threshold, with lingering bugs the team couldn't cleanly fix. Rather than patch a fundamentally tangled encounter, Mega Crit removed it and built a replacement from zero: Aeonglass, whose hourglass-flavored fight now guards the end of Act 3. (Our Aeonglass guide covers the verified pattern — 512 HP, Withering Presence, Ebb and Eye Lasers.)
The Bestiary opens
The Compendium gained its monster index — art, animation entries, and an open invitation to poke at it. The patch notes hid an easter egg in plain sight: press the 1–8 keys while viewing a monster. (More on what the book tracks: Bestiary secrets.)
Everything else
The balance slate was broad — Blade of Ink's Inky nerf, the Tesla Coil+ trigger doubling, the Sword Sage Replay rework, the Pumpkin Candle rework, three new Neow relics, and the multi-Lantern-Key surprise for single-player runs.
The cadence announcement tied it together: two-week patches from here on — bigger changes, more polish, and time for players to actually digest each drop.
