Slay the Spire 2 Blade Bandit — The Classic Pure Shiv Build

The orthodox Silent shiv deck in Slay the Spire 2: Accuracy, Blade Dance, Up My Sleeve and Blade of Ink, with Burst and Calculated Gamble keeping the knives coming every turn.
The blade bandit is shivs without the gimmicks: no poison, no exhaust tricks — just Accuracy-boosted knives in industrial quantities, backed by the Silent's best draw engine. It is the classic deck for players who want the swarm fantasy and a plan that fits in one sentence: more knives, faster knives.

Core cards
- Accuracy (Power) — Shivs deal an additional 4 (6) damage. The single most important card in the deck; without it, play defensively and shop.
- Blade Dance (Common) — add 3 (4) Shivs to your hand, Exhaust. The volume baseline; the Exhaust keeps the deck honest.
- Up My Sleeve — add 3 (4) Shivs, and this card's cost drops by 1 each time you play it. Eventually a free shiv bundle every turn.
- Blade of Ink (Rare) — add 2 (3) Inky Shivs to your hand. More density with a bonus twist — its Inky shivs interact with the game's enchant effects.
- Fan of Knives (Rare) — Shivs hit ALL enemies; add 4 (5) Shivs. The AOE coverage that pure shiv decks otherwise lack.
Draw and cycle
- Acrobatics (1) — draw 3 (4), discard 1. The deck's heartbeat.
- Calculated Gamble (Uncommon) — discard your hand, redraw it. Converts clunky hands into full reloads.
- Prepared (0) — draw 1 (2), discard 1 (2). Free filtering.
- Burst (Rare) — your next 1 (2) Skills are played twice. A Bursted Blade Dance or Acrobatics doubles the turn for one card.
- Afterimage (Power, Rare) — 1 Block per card played. Shiv turns play ten-plus cards; that is a wall you never spent energy on.
Relics that matter
- Joss Paper — every 5 cards Exhausted, draw 1. Blade Dance's Exhaust becomes card advantage.
- Pen Nib — every 10th Attack deals double damage. Shiv turns trip it constantly.
- Nunchaku — every 10 Attacks played, gain 1 energy. Volume becomes fuel.
Rules of the deck
- Never skip Accuracy. Two copies is not greed; it is redundancy for the one Power the whole deck scales from.
- Count cards, not damage. Every shiv generator and draw spell is live; every expensive attack is a dead draw.
- Delete Defends at shops — Afterimage and Cloak and Dagger handle defense once the loop runs.
- AOE check: bring Fan of Knives or Dagger Spray before Act 2's multi-enemy elites, or the swarm will need two turns where one was planned.
The bandit's ceiling is a turn where Acrobatics fills the hand, Blade Dance and Up My Sleeve fill it again, and twelve Accuracy-boosted knives — half of them AOE — hit everything on the board twice before the enemy takes a turn.
