Slay the Spire 2 Orobas — The Act 2 Ancient, Unlock and Relic Pools

Orobas in Slay the Spire 2: the Act 2 Ancient unlocked by clearing a run with every character. His three relic pools include Driftwood, Glass Eye, Alchemical Coffer, Sea Glass and Touch of Orobas.

Orobas — the living rainbow — is one of the possible Ancients for the start of Act 2: the blessing-giver who meets you between acts and offers relics that carry no drawbacks, only choices. He is also the most valuable unlock in the late-game rotation, because his pools contain some of the strongest equipment in the spire.

A friendly face between acts — and his gifts have no fine print.

How to unlock Orobas

Orobas is unlocked by clearing a run with every character — all five classes must reach a completed run before he can appear at an Act 2 start. Until then, other Ancients occupy the slot.

How his shop works

Like every Ancient, Orobas offers one relic out of each of three pools — you pick one option per pool rather than a single take-it-or-leave-it gift. That is what makes a fully unlocked Orobas so strong: three separate positive-effect relics, one from each pool.

The relic pools, highlights verified

Pool one — deck acceleration:

  • Glass Eye — upon pickup, obtain 2 Common, 2 Uncommon and 1 Rare card. The "my deck needs a core" button.
  • Driftwood — you may reroll each card reward once. The draft-fixer for decks hunting specific pieces.
  • Touch of Orobas — upon pickup, replace your starter relic with an Ancient version. Ironclad's Burning Blood, the Silent's Ring of the Snake and friends all have powered-up Ancient forms.

Pool two — raw value:

  • Alchemical Coffer — upon pickup, gain 4 potion slots already filled with random potions. Capacity and inventory in one line.
  • Sea Glass — see 15 cards from another character; add any number of them to your deck. The cross-class toolkit for fixing a deck's one weakness.

The upgrade tier: several of Orobas's relics are upgrade paths for your existing kit — Touch of Orobas's Ancient starter relics (upgraded Burning Blood variants heal more, upgraded orbs Channel harder) turn your class identity up to eleven.

Choosing between the pools

The classic priorities: if your deck is missing its engine, Glass Eye; if your deck is one card away from a loop, Driftwood; if your starter relic is your win condition, Touch of Orobas. Potion-hungry builds take Alchemical Coffer on sight, and Sea Glass is the answer to a deck that keeps losing to one specific problem.
