Slay the Spire 2 Loyalty Badge — The Event Relic That Does Nothing

The shopper's loyalty badge in Slay the Spire 2 is an event relic with no effect at all: no buff, no curse, no synergy. What it is, where it drops, and whether to bother picking it up.
Some relics win runs. The loyalty badge — the thank-you token from the game's shopper-event chain — exists to be looked at. Its entire rule text is: no effect. No buff, no curse, no interaction with your deck, your energy, shop prices or combat math. It is a commemorative trinket, full stop.

The facts
- Type: general relic — any character
- Rarity: Event
- Source: the shopper-appreciation event reward
- Effect: none — it provides no bonus, triggers nothing, and carries no penalty. It does not touch your deck, energy, draw, combat resolution or shop prices in any way.
Does a dead slot matter?
Relics are mostly passive inventory — there is no "relic slot limit" to worry about — so a no-effect relic costs you nothing except the event's alternative reward. The only real question is the opportunity cost at the moment of pickup:
- If the choice is badge vs. nothing, take it — a relic that does nothing is still a relic, and some future card, event or achievement may care that you own one.
- If the choice is badge vs. a real relic or resources, the comparison is lopsided: take the functional reward.
Why it exists
Flavor. The game is full of deadpan items that exist for world-building and the occasional achievement checklist, and the badge is the purest example: proof that somewhere in the spire, customer loyalty is honored, right before the customer is murdered by skeletons.
The practical guide: pick it up if it is free, skip it if it competes, and never build around it — there is nothing to build around.
